LEED Gold Certification

The first home to be certified LEED Gold in Massachusetts (Orleans) features SBC factory-stained shingles. Besides being Energy Star certified, this home is the first in Massachusetts to achieve such a high level of certification.

LEED Platinum Certification

SBC is proud to supply its factory-stained shingles to the Hamptons Green Alliance (HGA) for their first LEED Platinum home. HGA is an association of building and related-service professionals in the Hamptons on Long Island, NY, organized to promote green building and maintenance practices. HGA provides information on materials, systems and best practices.
